Hi everyone

At the extra meeting with mincepies and biscuits on Wednesday we got to know each other our past and how we came to be interested in the spiritual side of life. Very interesting afternoon.

Being unwell is no fun at any time of the year, but things always seem worse at Christmas time. At the meeting thirty-six names were entered into the Healing Book.  Among them one of the ladies who started up the Group back at the turn of the century.  The list also includes her husband.  So please give a thought and prayer to both of them and all the names in the Healing book.

THE SPIRITUAL PURPOSE OF HEALING  (Silver Birch)

"The healer's function is not to diagnose physical complaints which in too many cases have mental and spiritual origins. The function is to enable the power of the spirit to flow through him or her and touch the soul of the patient so that the disease, ailment or debility is put right, and then to kindle in that patient an awareness of spiritual realities. Physical diagnosis is absolutely unimportant and trivial."

I hope you are prepared for the festive season which is upon us now.  If you are enjoying the festivites with friends and family have a great time, and if you are on your own at this time still ensure you enjoy the days as it all only comes once a year.

But I do agree with this statement

Meetings will start again on 8th January,  no speaker but a discussion on some of the subjects which have been requested in the suggestion box.
