Hi everyone,

A very interesting meeting on Wednesday, lots of discussion with various views on the subject of mediumship.  The follow up is on 4th March when we will be discussion the psychic side of readings and the difference between the two.  This will include psychometry so bring along a personal small item which can be held, and other types of readings will be Angel cards and ribbons.  Should be another interesting meeting, look forward to seeing you all then.

Although the meeting on Wednesday was about mediumship a different subject did come up - that being ´love´.  It is important - I believe there is a saying ´love makes the world go round¨.  Perhaps we should have a discussion on this subject in the future.

In a few days I will be sending details via email of the EUW (European Union of Women).  Several members of our group (some just on the mailing list others who do attend our meetings) are members of this Union.  Sorry to gentlemen of Spiritual Friends but as yet I have never known a similar group for males.  If anyone knows of one I am willing to advertise it.

It is unfortunate that the year has not started off well for many people.  I have sent this poem before, but a reminder, and hopefully it will help those that need it. You are welcome to forward it on to anyone you may know and think it might help.

Don´t Quit.

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,

when the road you´re trudging seems all uphill.

When the funds are low, and the debs are high

and you want to smile, but you have to sigh.

When care is pressing you down a bit

rest if you must, but don´t you quit.

Life is queer, with its twists and turns

as every one of us sometimes learns.

And many a failure turns about

when he might have won had he stuck it out.

Don´t give up though the pace seems slow

you may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out

the silver tint of the clouds of doubt.

And you never can tell how close you are

it may be near when it seems so far

So stick to the fight when your´re hardest hit

it´s when things seem worse, that you must not quit.
