Hi everyone

I hope you are all keeping warm and dry now that the weather has changed.

A Thursday letter on a Wednesday because ....Today is a first - the first time (as far as I know) that a meeting has been cancelled. By 2.30pm  only two people (apart from Carl and myself) had arrived for the meeting and they were a couple who were hoping to attend for the very first time.  We look forward to meeting them again when they are next in Spain.  With apologies for the cancellation - Carl will invite Ka Ta Rang again early next year.

With no meeting to write about I will send you a reminder of the Teachings of the Universal Spiritual Brother and Sisterhood (USB) who remind us that we should never underestimate what we can do, either for ourselves or for others, as we journey along the path of life.

We can brighten the lives of our fellow human beings by showing them affection, understanding and compassion.  We can, for a while, lighten the burden that another finds too heavy to bear.  We can bring a touch of warmth, cheer and comfort to those we meet.  We can share truth with those we feel are ready to receive it.  We can be faithful to the principles we hold dear.  We can be true to our highest ideals.  And, we can by our way of life, be examples and an inspiration to others.

There are indeed many wonderful things that we can do by ourselves.

You are all obviously aware that Christmas is almost upon us.  There are adverts for local Festive Fairs on the WhatsApp.  And I will remind you that there are many ways of helping the needy at this time of the year among them the teenagers at the Benissa Home, and the local Project 4 All (for info on the Project contact Arne 643 737 584 or Kevin at Marley´s Bar where we meet).

And ---- the Healing Book for November has begun with a very long list despite no meeting today.  Just send me the names of anyone you know who needs healing and I will put them in the book.
