Merry Christmas

Hi everyone

While we are enjoying the festivities a short note to please remember the names in our Healing Book which also includes people who suffered in so  many ways during the flood in Valencia, (not each by name obviously) but thinking of them all.

While mentioning the flood victims, apparently they now need books, pens etc for the children returning to school.  Also, the Lions Charity Shop in Moraira told me that the people of the towns affected desperately need electrical goods, so if your Christmas gifts have doubled up on a hairdryer, shaver etc (anything electrical right up to fidges and  freezers) there will be collection dates at the Lions.  Or any of the smaller items can be brought along to meetings in the New Year to be passed on to the Lions.

Thanks to all those who donated during the year for the Teenagers of the Home in Benissa.   The Christmas money (shared equally between the ten children at the Home) has been passed to the representatives and both Hazel and Ian thank everyone for their kindness.

I am sure you have better things to do than read a message from me, so I will sign off and leave you with a statement from the book  A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
