Hi everyone

Hopefully everyone enjoying the weekend despite the weather.

Our meeting next Wednesday 21st is a discussion  – "Clairvoyance the whys, the wherefores, the do's and don't's ".

A reminder that Pauline Whittall is offering a workshop when she visits Spain in May, the subject being "Feeling the Evidence".  Let me know if you would like to add your name to list for the workshop.

A few quotes for the New Year

Every Moment is a fresh beginning.   T:S:Elliott

With the new days comes new strength and new thoughts. Eleanor roosevelt

And now we welcome the new year, full of things that have never been. Rainer Maria Rilke.

Start where you are.  Use what you have.  Do what you can. Arthur Ashe

Love to all, keep warm. Jan. x❄️🌻

I will leave you with a poem sent in from one of our group........

It’s a lie  (Kerry Corris)

I can’t get out of bed today

My mind won’t allow it

Just shut out the world and hide

Nobody will notice that I’m not alive

My teeth hurt from all the clenching

My head won’t stop thinking

My body shakes and sweats...I’m sinking

It’s all gone wrong

This wasn’t meant to be

My life was planned out

Until I met with anxiety

Days turn to weeks, to months, to years

Where did the time go? I can’t see for the tears

My mind is my enemy and my best friend

Always there until the end.

It’s obvious, I don’t belong

because of course my mind can’t be wrong?!

But it’s all a lie, I just didn’t see it

My mind was clouded by all the negatives

I can get out of bed today

One step at a time, that’s the way

So be kind to yourself, I’m going to try

And remember...your mind doesn’t always tell you the truth..

......... sometimes it’s a lie.

May spirit light your path.

Hi everyone

I hope you are managing to keep warm - I can say that to everyone on the mailing list as it is as cold here as it is in the UK and northern countries at the moment, but at least the rain has stopped here.

Despite the cold we had a great meeting yesterday, lots of new people and an interesting and fun afternoon with Pauline giving great clairvoyance. Thank you Pauline.

A reminder.  Our Fed-Up-February Feast will be at Javea Golf Club on Wednesday 11th February.  Please let me know asap if you would like to attend, and remember friends, partners even your neighbours also welcome if you wish to bring them along. I will send out the suggested menu when received from the restaurant, but I need to know numbers asap.

Rather than sayings this week, I thought I would send this poem ¨Nature´s Calm¨ quite appropriate for the present time.  Not so sure about swimming in the sea but the basis of the poem I think is needed.

Nature’s Calm

When you can’t sleep at night because your mind’s full of fear

And the voice of the newsreader is all you can hear

When you struggle to cope with the growing despair

And mourn because nothing in this world seems fair

Switch off the news and put down your phone

And just go outside, with a friend or alone

Find peace in the sound of the wind in the trees

In the songs of the birds and the buzzing of bees

Go for a walk, feel your feet on firm ground

Breathe deeply, be mindful of each sight and sound

Swim in the sea, climb a hill, take a break

Cherish the gift of each breath that you take

Watch the fluffed-up robin in the hedge

Let his sweet song guide you back from the edge

Welcome the trickle of rain on your skin

Feel the cold, feel the heat, feel the calm deep within

Marvel at the power of surging sea waves

Their ebb and flow bringing the peace that you crave

Taste the salty sea air as you run on the sand

Feel the sun on your face, and try, if you can

To remember that nature will always remain

Throughout all the fighting, and illness, and pain

A source of peace and beauty, a healing balm

Endless hope and comfort: nature’s calm.

Love to all

Keep safe, keep warm

Hi everyone

I hope the New Year has started off well for everyone.  It seems from meeting people and messages received 2025 was a year when most of us have had problems of one kind or another.  So, as I said, I hope 2026 has started off okay for everyone.  One thing is sure - it is already the 4th and yet again the days are flying past too quickly.

A reminder that our meeting on Wednesday is usual time and place with our speaker being Pauline Kernick giving clairvoyance. (in case you did not read the recent message and were expecting our speaker to be Helen unfortunately she had to rush back to the UK so Pauline has agreed to come along to give readings).

As most of you know we do not hold a Christmas gathering in December as everyone is busy, and instead hold it in the depressing month of February. Looking at the calendar it would seem that 11th February would be a good date to hold our annual ¨Fed -Up-February-Feast¨.  Previous years we have held this lunch at Javea Golf Club and hopefully that will be okay again for this year.  Please let me know if you will be attending.  Not sure of the price yet (previous years it has been in the region of 15 euros pp  and subsidised by the group funds).

I have found what I intended sending in my last message, it is attached.

In the thirty-three years of liviing in Spain I have never known such awful weather over the festive season, not good for those who travelled here in the hope of having a sunny Christmastime.  Also not good for those of us who suffer from SAD on dull days.  However, we must keep happy whatever life and the weather throw at us. Don´t watch the news, keep cheerful and remember ¨every day is a good day to have a good day¨.

Love to all, Keep warm

Jan. x 🌻
